(Isra) 17 : 37
وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولًا

And you don’t walk upon the earth insolently; indeed you will never tear the earth, and you will never reach the mountains in height.

Lord teaches that the 1 in 1000 believer will not be arrogant or haughty. It is told in verse 25: 63: “And the beloved servants of the Impartial Lord are those who walk upon the earth politely, and when the ignorant address them, they will reply: ‘Peace, you may go’”. As told in verses 31: 18-19 Luqman advised his son: “And you don’t turn back your face from mankind while you are speaking with them, and you don’t walk through the earth insolently; indeed, Allah doesn’t like every haughty and boastful one”. The believers are commanded to fly into the place where Adhirk is explained as told in verse 51: 50. The believer is commanded to explain Adhikr just like the lion’s roar by which the disbelievers will fly away from there like the wild donkeys as mentioned in verses 74: 49-51. The believer is commanded to do great Jihad with Adhikr against the Kuffar and hypocrites as explained in verse 9: 73.

Verse 39: 60 ends by asking: “Is there no abode in Hell for the arrogant disbelievers”. It is said to the disbelievers through verse 39: 72: “Enter the gates of Hell to abide in forever, and evil is the abode of the arrogant”. See explanation 3: 79; 7: 146-147 and 16: 29.
